Ceiling And Wall Access Hatches

Cleaning companies often come across sections of ductwork located behind a wall or ceiling which is extremely difficult and in most cases impossible to access and clean. Gaining good access is the main problem for these companies, sometimes requiring the installation of one or more access hatches to be able to access the ductwork for cleaning.

The reason why cleaning companies cannot access and clean these sections of ductwork is generally due to it being located behind either a solid or plastered surface. Whilst it is preferable that extract ductwork be as short as possible and passed directly to the outside of the building, in practice this is not always possible and in many cases ductwork will pass through ceiling voids within the kitchen, then to the outside of the building via other fire compartments.

Here at Ductwork Remedial Services our BESA accredited and competent builders can identify the correct location, provide and install any sized hatch required to allow access to the ductwork for these cleaning companies.
