Cleaning companies often come across sections of ductwork which is obstructed by the buildings structure, or permanent fixings that cannot be removed, or redirected. Gaining good access to the ductwork is the main problem cleaning companies face, sometimes requiring full confined space entry into the ductwork in order to provide a full clean.
There are a few reasons why cleaning companies cannot access these sections of ductwork , the main reason being a lack of space to access or install access panels into the ductwork. Due to safety, legislation or insurance reasons most regular cleaning companies will rightly not enter the ductwork, which is where we come in. In most cases when new buildings are built, or renovated, the first building service to be installed is the ventilation ductwork due to its size, then all other building services are installed either beside or underneath it and in some cases are located behind solid structures.
